Job Summary
The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls, cash-flow management, and compliance with UAE regulations. The role supports business decision-making by providing financial insights across projects, sales, procurement, and operations, while safeguarding the company’s financial health.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure accurate accounting records in compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Provide financial reports and insights to management
Cash Flow & Working Capital
Monitor cash flow, receivables, payables, and project collections
Manage payment schedules aligned with project milestones
Optimize working capital and support cash-flow planning
Controls, Compliance & Audit
Establish and maintain strong internal controls and approval processes
Coordinate with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities
Ensure VAT compliance, filings, and documentation
Support risk management and financial governance
Commercial & Project Support
Support pricing, margin analysis, and cost control for projects
Review contracts, payment terms, and financial exposure
Work closely with sales, procurement, and operations teams
Team & Stakeholder Management
Supervise and support finance and accounts staff
Coordinate with banks, auditors, suppliers, and external consultants
Ensure timely and accurate financial communication internally
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Professional qualification preferred (CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA)
7–12 years of relevant finance experience
Experience in construction, engineering, or industrial/project-based companies preferred
UAE/GCC experience is a must
